Our History
The CH2 name has evolved from a long history of wholesaling in the healthcare industry, beginning as VHA (Victorian Healthcare Association) which was established as a cooperative enterprise in 1938.
From there, in September 1997, VHA began trading as HSA (Hospital Supplies of Australia), and then in May 2005 a joint venture was formed between HSA and Clifford Hallam Pharmaceuticals (CHP). CHP was established in 1973.
In January 2006, the business now known as CH2 (Clifford Hallam Healthcare) was formed. In March 2008, CH2 acquired the Cottman Australia business which has
allowed for a strengthened national network with eight warehouses across the country.
In September 2010, CH2 acquired the Intouch Direct Australia business. This acquisition has allowed CH2 to be a truly national healthcare service provider to the community services market. CH2 can now offer a total solution of continence, wound care, nutritional and medical aid products into the Aged & Community market.
